The Release Candidate is always released before the final release as the final phase of testing to detect dumb bugs!! They are not really dumb...but I mean to say that the bugs which have been caused due to carelessness....
The RC is not recommended for an amateur. But if you are still willing to take risks, you could still try to use it.
The RC is recommended to only those who are developers, bug reporters and anyone who are not expecting a full fledged Ubuntu.
